Hello! My name is Jade. I am a singer, an actor, an artist, and enthusiastic practitioner of EFT. This practice is my go-to for processing the upsets in my life, and has been deeply supportive in keeping me on track with my mission to create inspirational experiences and projects in the world. Through EFT, I have befriended the critical voices in my head, learned how to regulate my nervous system in times of stress, and discovered how to create and hold deep space for connection, revelation and healing, for my family and loved-ones. EFT has also been crucial in helping me fully embrace and embody my queer identity, through processing the imprint of societal and cultural conditioning, and more. I am available to process with all humans from all backgrounds, and am especially committed to offering a safe space for individuals in the LGBTQIA community to have the emotional and psycho-spiritual support they deserve.
I was first introduced to the practice of EFT in 2010, when I stumbled into the Red Lightning camp at Burning Man, where Sonya Sophia was leading a crowd of 400 people in a group EFT session. It was a powerful and mysterious experience of catharsis and awakening, and I knew I would be circling back to this practice in my life.
Years later, upon moving to Austin in 2015, I encountered Sonya again, and dove into her training with the Sophia School of Living Arts to master the technique and become a certified practitioner. I have since participated in 5, 10-day immersive practitioner trainings in Austin as a teaching assistant, as well as a variety of workshops, and developed my private practice in 2016.
In addition to EFT, my experience includes 15 years of yoga practice, and certification in trauma-informed hatha yoga teaching (with Jenn Wooten and Angie Knight, through Yoga Yoga 200-hr training)
In 2018, I received certification in Voice-Spectrum Analysis from master of sound Ani Williams, in Sedona, AZ. This is a practice in identifying and using vocal tones to regulate the nervous system, create endorphins in the system and relieve deep-seated stress and trauma through sound. These techniques pair beautifully with EFT, and I often incorporate toning and vocalizations to access and release emotion in our sessions.
My educational background is in experimental theater, visual art, critical theory and language. I graduated with a bachelors from the inter-disciplinary Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU. In retrospect, I can clearly recognize that the connecting thread through all of my studies, was the integration and healing of the human spirit and psyche through art, psychology, and performance.
I'm so grateful to have learned EFT, and to be sharing it with the world as a deeply worthy, supplemental practice for any human to experience more of the glory of their being!
